TERMS & CONDITIONS

THE STUDIO FEE

The studio fee is payable on booking

This fee is non refundable, however amendments to the booking can be made up to 48 hours in advance. 

The Studio fee DOES NOT include the pottery or Wooden Duck item - these are to be paid for at the end of the studio session.
 

FOOD-SAFE POTTERY

All of our pottery is glazed to be fully food-safe once fired. Your finished pieces can be used in the dishwasher and microwave; however, we recommend gentle handwashing to help preserve their finish over time. Dishwashers can be harsh and may gradually weaken the glaze. Please also take care when removing items from the microwave, as pottery can become very hot.

FOOD & DRINK

We kindly ask that only food and drink purchased from our studio is consumed on the premises. We do however permit over 18’s to bring their own alcohol for special occasions and on evenings and weekends. 

Our café offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes, and treats for you to enjoy.

If you are celebrating, you are welcome to bring a birthday cake by prior arrangement.  

DAMAGES & IMPERFECTIONS

While we take great care, occasionally items may be damaged in transit or develop imperfections during the firing process. In these cases, we may offer a gift voucher for a replacement piece rather than releasing a faulty item.

We do not give out damaged items, as they may need to be tested, returned to suppliers, or may not meet our quality standards. This decision is at our discretion.

In some cases, where an item is still usable, we may offer a small goodwill “damage voucher” towards your next visit.

Once you have collected your item, please check it carefully and notify us of any issues within 24 hours. After this time, items are considered accepted.

EXCESS WASTAGE

We are committed to reducing waste wherever possible. If excessive amounts of glaze are used unnecessarily, a £3 wastage charge may be applied. Our team is always happy to guide you on how much you’ll need—just ask!

UNFINISHED POTTERY

If you’re unable to finish your piece during your session, don’t worry—we’ll keep it safe for up to 1 month.

You can return to complete your item and just pay the studio fee. We will hold your item for up to 1 month from your initial studio visit to allow plenty of time for you to do this.

COLLECTION

Finished pottery must be collected from the studio or can be posted to you at your expense.

We will make up to two attempts to contact you when your items are ready. Any pieces not collected within 1 month of painting may be disposed of unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

General Bookings

Studio Fees are non Refundable. 

Cancellations or amendments to the booking must be made within 48 hours of your scheduled visit to the studio. You can cancel or amend your booking online.

PARTY BOOKINGS

Childrens Parties

These can be booked online using the booking system. Bookings to be made at least 7 days in advance. The studio fee per child is payable on booking, Cancellations or amendments must be made at least 48 hrs before the scheduled party date, otherwise the booking  cannot be changed.

Studio fees are non refundable.

Adult Parties/Hen Parties/Corporate Events

These can be booked online using the booking system. Bookings to be made at least 7 days in advance. The studio fee per person is payable on booking, Cancellations or amendments must be made at least 48 hrs before the scheduled party date, otherwise the booking  cannot be changed.

Studio fees are non refundable.

Events & Workshops

These can be booked online using the booking system and are non-refundable. 

Optional Extras

We offer a range of add-ons including cakes, afternoon tea, grazing boards, and keepsake items (prices available on request).

Cancellations 

All cancellations or amendments must be made 48 hours prior to the Studio date.

We are not unmindful that things can happen which means changing your plans last minute. In this event we will do our best to reschedule your booking. (This is at our discretion)

Studio Fees are non refundable. 

Final numbers must be confirmed in advance. Additional guests cannot attend unless agreed beforehand.

PHOTOGRAPHY

By visiting our studio, you consent to photography which may be used on our website, social media, or for promotional purposes. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let a member of our team know on arrival.
